Weight and metabolic health are due to multiple factors including genetics, environmental and lifestyle.

Whilst diet and exercise certainly play their role, it is important to explore other factors including sleep, mental health and other medical disorders.

It is important to assess metabolic health outside of just weight loss and also assess for associated complications such as hypertension (high blood pressure), hypercholesterolaemia (high cholesterol), type 2 diabetes and obstructive sleep apnoea.
